Request Read Confirmation
When you send an email, you have the option to request a "read confirmation," which prompts the email recipient to send a notification of delivery back to you.
To use this feature when sending an email from Speartek webmail, you can do the following:
- Login to your webmail account with your full email address and password. (Additional Information)
- Note: The URL to access your webmail account is typically "pop." followed by your domain name. For example, if your website is "http://www.samplesite.com," then you would login to your webmail account at "http://pop.samplesite.com." Alternatively, you may login at "http://pop.speartek.com."
- Mouseover New in the top toolbar and select Message.
- Click Options at the top of the Message window.
- Check the checkbox to the left of Request read confirmation.
- Click the OK button.
- Compose and send your message.
To set this feature as the default setting within Speartek webmail, you can do the following:

- Mouseover Tools in the top toolbar and select Options.
- On the Mail tab, select the Default subtab.
- Check the checkbox to the left of Request read confirmation.
- Click the OK button.
