Auto-Response
To send an automatic response (i.e. "out of office"), you can do the following:
- Login to your webmail account with your full email address and password. (Additional Information)
- Note: The URL to access your webmail account is typically "pop." followed by your domain name. For example, if your website is "http://www.samplesite.com," then you would login to your webmail account at "http://pop.samplesite.com." Alternatively, you may login at "http://pop.speartek.com."
- On the Tools menu, select Options.
- On the Mail tab, select the Autoresponder subtab.
- Select "Respond Once" from the Mode drop-down menu.
- Enter the auto-response message in the Text field.
- Check the checkbox to the left of Respond to messages sent to user's email address only.
- Optional: Enter the From and To dates in the Respond if only between fields. You may click the "..." buttons to select the From and To dates from a calendar view.
- Click OK to apply the changes.
