Move Messages
A. To move a single message to a folder with webmail, you can do the following:
- Login to your webmail account with your full email address and password. (Additional Information)
- Note: The URL to access your webmail account is typically "pop." followed by your domain name. For example, if your website is "http://www.samplesite.com," then you would login to your webmail account at "http://pop.samplesite.com." Alternatively, you may login at "http://pop.speartek.com."
- Click a folder name in the Folder pane.
- Select and move a message from the Message pane by doing either of the following:
- Drag-and-drop a message from the Message Pane to the desired folder within the Folder Pane.
- Right-click on a message in the Message Pane and select "Move to Folder."
B. To move multiple messages to a folder at once within webmail, you can use the "Shift + click" key combination on your keyboard to select a range of consecutive messages or the "Ctrl + click" key combination on your keyboard to select multiple, non-contiguous messages.
To use "Shift + click" to select a range of consecutive messages, you can do the following:
- Login to your webmail account with your full email address and password. (Additional Information)
- Note: The URL to access your webmail account is typically "pop." followed by your domain name. For example, if your website is "http://www.samplesite.com," then you would login to your webmail account at "http://pop.samplesite.com." Alternatively, you may login at "http://pop.speartek.com."
- Click a folder name in the Folder pane.
- Click a message in the Message pane.
- Press and hold down the Shift key.
- Click the last message within this range of messages that you wish to move.
- Release the Shift key.
Every message between the first click and the second click will be selected. You may drag-and-drop or right-click to move these messages to the desired destination.
To use "Ctrl + click" to select multiple, non-contiguous messages, you can do the following:
- Login to your webmail account with your full email address and password. (Additional Information)
- Note: The URL to access your webmail account is typically "pop." followed by your domain name. For example, if your website is "http://www.samplesite.com," then you would login to your webmail account at "http://pop.samplesite.com." Alternatively, you may login at "http://pop.speartek.com."
- Click a folder name in the Folder pane.
- Click a message in the Message pane.
- Press and hold down the Ctrl key.
- Click each message that you wish to move.
- Release the Ctrl key.
Every message that you clicked will be selected. You may drag-and-drop or right-click to move these messages to the desired destination.
