Blacklist

A blacklist rule will block all messages from a specific sender. To blacklist a sender directly from a Spam Report, please see the Spam Filtering & Reports section.

Create a blacklist rule from a message

If you have a message from the sender you wish to block within your webmail account on our mail server, then you can add this sender to your account's global Blacklist by doing the following:

  1. Login to your webmail account with your full email address and password. (Additional Information)
    • Note: The URL to access your webmail account is typically "pop." followed by your domain name. For example, if your website is "http://www.samplesite.com," then you would login to your webmail account at "http://pop.samplesite.com." Alternatively, you may login at "http://pop.speartek.com."
  2. Navigate to the message from the sender you wish to block.
    1.  Drag-and-drop this message to the Blacklist folder (within the Filters folder) in the Folder pane; OR
    2.  Right-click this message within the Message pane and select Blacklist Sender and click OK.

When you blacklist a sender directly from a Spam Report, that sender is automatically added to the global Blacklist above.
