  2. Click Add e-mail account to add an e-mail account.

In the Add an E-mail Account, do the following:

  3. Check the Remember password checkbox. (Additional Information)
    • Note: If you select this option, you won't have to type your password each time you access the account. However, this also makes the account vulnerable to anyone who has access to your computer.
  4. In the Display Name box, type your name as you want it to appear to other people.
  5. Check the Manually configure server settings for e-mail account checkbox.
  6. Click Next.

In the Incoming Server Information section, do the following:

  1. Make sure the drop-down menu reads My incoming mail server is a POP3 server.

In the Outgoing Server Information section, do the following:

  2. Leave the Port field value of 25.
  3. Check the My outgoing server requires authentication checkbox.
  4. Click Next.
  5. Click Finish.

  4. This server requires a secure connection (unchecked)
  5. Leave a copy of messages on server (unchecked) (Additional Information)
    • Note: With this checkbox unchecked, when you download new messages from the server, the messages are deleted from Speartek's mail server. If you check this e-mail account from different computers by using the default Windows Live Mail POP3 settings, the computer that downloads a new e-mail message is the only location where the message is stored. The message is no longer on Speartek’s mail server and will not be downloaded when you connect from another computer.
    • To view your messages from different computers, you can choose to leave messages on Speartek’s mail server. Should you check the Leave a copy of messages on server checkbox, then we recommend that you also check the Remove from server after "x" days checkbox. This will help to prevent your mailbox on Speartek's mail server from reaching its storage limit.
    • If you configure Windows Live Mail to leave messages on the server, you may need to login to your webmail account and manually delete these messages. For more information about accessing your webmail account on Speartek's mail server, please visit the Speartek Webmail Help section.
  6. Click Apply.
  7. Click OK.
